On November 25-26, 2020 Russia-China Union of Pedagogical Organizations organized scientific round table New era, new structure, new breakthrough: reforms and outlooks in education of music teachers in Russia and China hosted online by South-East Normal University (Changchun, China). MPGU Rector Alexey Lubkov made a presentation at the opening of the round table, The round table was dedicated to tendencies in development of musical pedagogy. Members of the Union regularly host various events, most notably Russo-Chinese forums, conferences and symposiums on the issues of pedagogical education. The Union was established in 2014 on MPGU and Beijing Normal University initiatives.
The round table played an important role in building good partner relationship between the two countries as well as professional dialogue between Chinese and Russian teachers.
