On April 12, 2021 Russian UNESCO chairs held coordiantion committee session in a mixed (online and offline) format — the session was based at St. Petersburg polytechnical university, however the majority of participants joined from organizations located in different regions in Russia. MPGU was represented by M. Krivenkaya.
The participants discussed questions raised by UNESCO Secretariat for national committees in anticipation of the General Conference in fall 2021.
The committee leaders announced that in 2022 Russia will hold Unesco session for the second time in Kazan. The theme of the session will be Intercultural dialogue — imperative for preservation of cultural heritage.
