In the Institute of Politics and History of Leiden University three master students are undertaking an intership with the department of Socio Political Researches and Technologies. The intership is implemented under the auspices of the student exchange program «the former Soviet Union and modern Russia» with support of the Institute of Advance Researches and Federal Сoordination Сentre of Development of Human Resources and Youth Policy MSPU.
After the completion of the course in November Roloff Ferdinand Stolk, Barth Gerard Alting and Anna Maria Sparnossu began working in state agences and non-governmental youth associations of Moscow. The intership was in the form of excursions, discussians, participation in conferences and management decision simulations. Graduates have already visited Children and Youth Palace «Vorobyevy Gory», Moscow Youth Centre «Planeta KVN», Craftsmen City «Masteroslavl», Moscow Councelors School, Children’s Campus «Computeria». All these visits impressed them.
«Holland has nothing like it! Children can simultaniously study space, biology and arts after compulsory school lessons on one side! And all that is for free!» — Barth Gerard Alting about Children and Youth Palace «Vorobyevy Gory».
«KVN is a very exciting game! I got it for the first time. It’s so great that students from different universities, towns and even countries are matching wits plazing KVN. Holland hasn’t got this game» — Roloff Ferdinand Stolk about Moscow Youth Centre «Planeta KVN»
«It’s so important that russian children can relax here: wood, accomodation like hotel rooms, individual educational programme… Parents can watch their children online being far away from the camp» — Anna Maria Sparnossu about Children’s Campus «Computeria».
