Moscow Pedagogical State University, as the basic organization for the training of teachers of the CIS countries, together with the Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities (hereinafter – EAPU) and the Russian-Chinese Union of Higher Pedagogical Educational Institutions, holds an International competition of the best practices of teaching Russian as a non-native (foreign) language in pedagogical universities of the CIS member states and the People’s Republic of China (hereinafter – Competition).
The competition is held in order to further strengthen international cooperation in the field of pedagogical education through the exchange of unique and effective pedagogical practices of teaching Russian as a non-native (foreign) language in pedagogical universities of the CIS member states and China. The competition is timed to the Year of the Russian Language as the language of Interethnic communication in the CIS and the Year of the Teacher and Mentor in the Russian Federation.
The competition is scheduled to be held in October-November 2023 and will be held in 2 stages:
– The first, correspondence stage of the Competition, takes place in the form of an examination of the materials of the participants – a video clip and a description of the practice of teaching Russian.
No more than 25 participants who have scored the highest number of points according to the results of the first stage are allowed to participate in the second stage of the Competition.
– The second, full-time stage of the Competition, takes place on the basis of the MPGU and includes the holding of master classes by the participants of the Competition.
The competition is expected to involve pedagogical universities of the Russian Federation and CIS countries, as well as leading pedagogical universities of the People’s Republic of China.
