The MPGU’s new academic year begins with international participation. On September 1st, a delegation from the government of Zhaoqing, China visited MPGU. The first vice rector Viktor Pavlovich Dronov warmly welcomed the Chinese delegation headed by vice mayor of the People’s Government Xie Guikun in the main building.
The talks were attended by officials from Zhaoqing City, Guangying County and university representatives. During the meeting, the parties noted promising areas of cooperation and possible topics for joint projects in the field of research, international conferences, academic mobility, exchange of professors and teaching staff.
During the meeting, a proposal to discuss a draft agreement on cooperation, as well as proposals for the training of specialists, taking into account the peculiarities of the educational systems of our countries, was announced.
The delegation was given a tour of the main building of the Moscow State University and demonstrated the Lenin audience, the reading room of the library, the meeting room of the Academic Council.

Zhaoqing University was founded in 1970 and is located in Zhaoqing, a famous city in the Pearl River Delta, Guangdong Province, China. Zhaoqing District only has one public higher education institution that provides general education full-time university for students. The university received a master’s degree, which was ratified by the State Council in October 2021.
Zhaoqing University consists of two campuses. The main campus and the Star Lake campus are located in the beautiful and picturesque Star Lake area. The university occupies an area of 1 230 m (82 ha) with buildings of 350,000 sq.m.

A number of distinguished experts and scholars from other universities or institutions are invited as visiting or visiting professors. The University Library has over 1,835,000 books, 3,182,000 e-books and 29,000 electronic newspapers and magazines. The Science Park of Zhaoqing University is a science park of the National University, accredited by the Ministry of Science and Technology and the Ministry of Education.
