On November 25, 2021 International Pedagogical Forum «Current State of the System of Continuous Pedagogical Education and the Prospects of its Integration Development» was held in an online format, timed to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
At the Forum, welcoming remarks were made by representatives of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the CIS Executive Committee, Rossotrudnichestvo and the Russian Academy of Education.
The main report «Support and development of integration processes in the field of teaching staff training» was made by MPGU Rector Alexei Vladimirovich Lubkov. In his report he outlined the main directions of joint work of pedagogical universities of the CIS countries to strengthen integration ties in the development of teacher education, harmonize requirements of state educational standards, to develop common approaches to assessing effectiveness of activities of pedagogical universities, to agree on the conditions for improving mobility of teachers and students, as well as rendering assistance to young teaching staff in their professional development and career growth.
