On July 5, 2023, the Rector of MPGU, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexey Lubkov and the University management took part in a visiting meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Enlightenment of Russia «Strategic session of the Ministry of Enlightenment of Russia». During the event, the heads of the federal state budgetary educational institution of higher education «Moscow Pedagogical State University» were awarded state awards of the Russian Federation.
Rector of MPGU Alexey Lubkov was awarded the Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree. The First Vice-Rector Natalia Sklyarova was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation; the first Vice–Rector Viktor Dronov was awarded a Medal of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland, II degree for his services in scientific and pedagogical activities, training of qualified specialists and long-term conscientious work.
Vice-Rector for Development, Head of the Theology Department Vasily Strakhov for merits in scientific and pedagogical activity, training of qualified specialists and long-term conscientious work and Vice-Rector for Public Relations, Director of the Institute of Journalism, Communications and Media Education Tatiana Vladimirova for merits in scientific and pedagogical activity and training of qualified specialists were awarded Medals of the Order of Merit for the Fatherland» II degree. Lyudmila Trubina, Head of the Department of Russian Literature XX-XXI, was awarded the Pushkin Medal for her achievements in scientific and pedagogical activity, training of qualified specialists and many years of conscientious work.
