On December 22, 2020 International Relations Office held an online conference with foreign students of the Russian Language Training Faculty.
This meeting belongs to the series of meetings between MPGU foreign students and employees of the International Relations Office. The online event was held to provide comprehensive support to foreign students, building «information bonds» with them, as well as adapting newly enrolled students. During the online meeting, administrative issues related to the difficulties of distance learning, payment for dormitories and payment of tuition fees, visas and registrations were discussed.
Volunteer organization “MPGU Buddy Club” and its organizer, Irina Sukhoruchenkova, offered support to international students. She also invited all foreign students to join the official university Instagram account @mpgu.international.
V.V. Kruglov, Head of IRO reminded the students that a psychological support department works at MPGU. Every foreigner can receive free qualified psychological assistance. You can sign up for a consultation, or do it through IRO. The students were also reminded that with any problem they can contact the representatives of the university: on educational issues — to the person responsible for working with foreign students, and on administrative issues — to the staff of the UMS.
