On June 7, 2021 an online meeting between representatives of the Moscow Pedagogical State University and the University of Franche-Comté (UBFC) (Besançon, France) took place. The meeting was attended by employees of MPGU International Relations Department and MPGU Institute of Foreign Languages, UBFC International Department, UBFC Department of the Russian Language, UBFC Department of Linguistics, UBFC Department of the French Language and UBFC Higher National Institute of Teaching and Education.
In 2021 universities signed a framework cooperation agreement and two additional agreements, including a student exchange agreement. The parties discussed the possibility of exchanges within the framework of student teaching practice in French / Russian schools and the organization of summer schools for French students in Russia. At the moment students and teachers of the Moscow State Pedagogical University have the opportunity to undergo a linguistic internship at the Center for Applied Linguistics of the University of Franche-Comté on partnership terms (currently online).
The parties agreed to continue discussing the prospects for cooperation in the near future and to establish a regular student exchange within the framework of semester internships.
