2017-2018 academic year in the Institute of Foreign Languages was marked by traditionally a large set and a high competition for prestigious bachelor’s and master’s programs. The «Translation theory and practice» program, among Russian and foreign students from the near and far abroad countries, annually receives students from China, Armenia, Georgia, Vietnam, USA, Korea, Taiwan, Mongolia, Algeria, Poland, Slovenia and other countries. These are young and enthusiastic researchers, ready to work in the field of translation and comparative analysis of two or more foreign languages. Their scientific results and practical skills are ready to apply in the MPGU partner countries in the role of interpreters with knowledge of several foreign languages, including professional knowledge of the Russian language. Daria Bokova, Master of 1 course of the «Theory and practice of translation» program, recorded interviews with some of her classmates on the program and asked them some very important questions about the reasons to choose Russia as a country for training and MPGU as a university and others.
