MSPU was visited by delegation from National Taiwan Normal University on 27 August. During the meeting with delegation from MSPU cooperation prospects were discussed. Both sides also signed the Memorandum of understanding.
Working visit of the delegation from NTNU was done within the realization of the project to find partner universities in all major cities around the world.
“Moscow State Pedagogical University and National Taiwan Normal University aresimilar. They both occupy a leading positions among pedagogical universities in their countries,” noted Kuo-En Changthe president of NTNU.
Kuo-En Chang also noted that long-term research of Russian scientists in the Methodology seriously affected the development of the educational system in Taiwan. According to Kuo-En Chang, it has successfully formed.
The president of MSPU, academician Alexei Semenov told about the history of MSPU and about training programs of the University. He also named the priority areas of cooperation: the study of language, culture and mathematics. Training programs for students will vary in duration.
The problem of learning Russian by Chinese students was considered separately.
“There are many international students in our University who have just started to learn Russian. I suppose, that we need to take this into account”, noted A. Semenov.“It could be provided in program that students from NTNU will firstly study Russian during the semester in their university and our teachers will be able to help them. After a course of Russian language Chinese students will be ready to come to MSPU and continue their study. The same approach could be useful for our students who will decide to study in NTNU. ”

International cooperation is one of the priority activities of MSPU. The expansion of the university relations with Chinese universities has become the recent trend.
