An annual plenary meeting of the Chinese-Russian Union of pedagogical universities and international conference of its members took place at July 4, 2016.
Aleksey Semenov, MSPU Rector, co-chairman of the Chinese-Russian Union of pedagogical universitites noted, that that the world was changing very fast, the amount of knowledge was increasing. The automatic translation of oral and written speech promoted it.
The questions of translation and cross-cultural communication acquired new sounding, the possibilities of international cooperation increased.
MSPU Rector stressed the special importance of L. Vygotsky work. This remarkable Russian teacher worked at MSPU in 1924-34.
A. Semenov said that it was very important for teachers to keep up with children, who obtain new knowledge from Internet. School should become the basis of scientific research.
Within the limits of the conference the delegations from different universities discussed fundamental questions connected with new stage of cooperation of higher pedagogical institutions of Russia and China.
Special attention was paid to innovational educational practices at primary and secondary school.
The discussion of key problems of modernization of general and pedagogical education in Russia and China also took place.
Parties designated landmarks of further cooperation.
