Students of University of Szczecin (Poland) visited the main building of MSPU where they got acquainted with the traditions of our University, its history and students.
Guests from University of Szczecin – one of the biggest classical universities of Poland – visited the Institute of Philology on 14 March, 2017. The delegation consisted of students from Russian and Scandinavian departments of the Philological faculty was headed by Mrs. Lucyna Smędzik – the lecturer of the Russian language with 30-years work experience, the famous popularizer of the idea of cross-cultural dialogue in the sphere of education in the Russian language.
The arrival of Polish students at Moscow became possible thanks to support of International pedagogical society in support for the Russian language (IPS), the secretariat of IPS – the Centre of assistance to international education “Ethnosphere” , the Centre of historical and cultural studies of religions and intercivilizational relations of MSPU.
The cooperation with University of Szczecin offers new possibilities: organization of bilateral internships for students, scientific work and mutual programmes of advanced trainings for lecturers; language practice and experience of establishing interethnic dialogue.
Special attention and time was given to direct communication between Polish and Russian students, meetings of representatives of the youth of two countries in order to get to know each other better.
In the context of absence of the state support from the Polish government the lecturers from University of Szczecin are in desperate need for support from Russia of their interest in learning Russian in Polish Universities.
As a perspective field of cooperation, the practice of giving double diplomas to Polish students studying the Russian language.
Parties decided to sign a cooperation agreement.
