Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, recently hosted an international conference commemorating the 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev, the National Leader of Azerbaijan. The event, titled «Topical Issues of Azerbaijani Studies,» included an opening ceremony and a plenary session. Renowned figures from various countries participated in the conference, which focused on research, scientific discourse, and internationalization.
Among the distinguished speakers was Alexey Lubkov, Rector of Moscow Pedagogical State University, who highlighted the university’s 150-year history of training teachers and emphasized the importance of combining innovation with tradition. Lubkov also praised Heydar Aliyev’s contributions to Soviet education and discussed the strong ties between Russia and Azerbaijan. The conference featured 14 sections where speakers comprehensively examined Heydar Aliyev’s impact, particularly in the field of education. Attendees expressed their deep admiration for Heydar Aliyev and expressed gratitude for the well-prepared film and excellent event organization.
