On October 2-3, 2018 MPGU delegation headed by Rector A. V. Lubkov took part in VII International Methodological Conference «Mathematical Modelling and IT in Education and Science» dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the Abay Kazakh National Pedagogical University (AKNPU). The academic event was opened with AKNPU Rector, T. O. Balikbayev’s speech at the plenary session. The presentations were focused on the topics of teaching mathematical modeling, computerization of the educational system, opportunities for IT development, teaching IT at school and engineering education. The following delegates participated in the plenary session: Dr. S. Moria, Prof. S. G. Kabanikhin, Prof. M. P. Lapchik, Prof. M. N. Kalimoldayev, Prof. E. K. Henner and others.
The conference was followed by the meeting of MPGU Rector, A. V. Lubkov and Executive Director of Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities, Prof. E. M. Nikitina, AKNPU Rector, T. O. Balikbayev, Rector of Pomeranian Academy in Slupsk, Z. Osadowski, Vice Rector of Armenian State Pedagogical University named after Khachatur Abovian, S. R. Gevorkyan and others. The meeting was dedicated to the upcoming International Forum of Eurasian Association of Pedagogical Universities, as well as to future cooperation between Universities.
Before the conference A. V. Lubkov took part in the opening ceremony of Pedagogical STEM-park (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). The new park represents the new ways of interaction between educational system, science and business since it integrates robotic technologies laboratories, IT classes and teachers’ training classes.
