Delegation from Weinan Normal University (WNU) headed by Rector Ding Deke visited MSPU on 24-27 April, 2017.
Both Universities have realized a project of establishing a joint Russian-Chinese Institute of Arts at the territory of China. The agreement was signed on 7 November, 2016 in Saint-Petersburg at the meeting of D.A. Medvedev, the head of the government of the Russian Federation, and Li Keqiang , the Premier of State Council of China. Ministers of Education of both countries concluded a memorandum of cooperation on establishing Moscow Institute of Arts at the bases of WNU.
During the meeting of two Rectorsthe main attention was paid to the formation of the management bodies of the joint Institution, its functioning and sending Russian lecturers to Weinan for work.
WNU Rector Ding Deke was awarded the title of MSPU honorary professor at Academic council.
The reception and an official dinner were organized at China Embassy for the representatives of two Universities. The Ambassador confirmed the intention of the Chines side to render all possible assistance to the development of the Russian-Chinese Institute.
