On November, 29 2018 the Central China Normal University delegation headed by Wu Zi, Dean of the School of History and Culture, paid a visit to MPGU. The relationship between universities started in 2017 with a student exchange program between Schools of Mathematics. Now the Universities plan to cooperate more closely in the field of history. A. Lubkov, MPGU Rector, expressed the necessity to organize a number of educational projects on the federal level. He also discussed future publication of printed and electronic study materials dedicated to the most relevant issues of the 20th Century, such as origins and development of WWII and Russo-Chinese War. A. Anachenko, Head of Institute of History and Politics welcomed the idea of the new exchange program and suggested to create a glossary of historical events of the 20th century and publish joint papers.
Chinese colleagues made a presentation about CCNU School of History and Culture. The Dean mentioned the new educational program with two majors: history and culture and spoke of the new educational format which involves informational approach to historical analysis and mathematical methods of analysis. The Chinese guests were particularly interested in student and teacher exchange programs, conference organizations and joint research.
As a result of the discussion, the sides decided to sign an additional agreement between Central China Normal University and MPGU.
