On December 2-5, 2019 MPGU delegation took part in Erasmus+ International week held at University College of Teacher Education of Christian Churches Vienna/Krems. Representatives of the highest educational establishments of Russia, Israel, Taiwan, Albania, Belgium, Finland, the Netherlands were invited to the event. Dr. Thomas Shrei, an expert in higher education, served as a moderator. The participants analysed leading world trends of university development and academic mobility. It was emphasised that one of the main goals of Erasmus+ project is to give a new impetus to students for building their own own individual programs. Problems of teachers’ training for polyethical and polyconfessional communities and raising the profile and social status of teaching profession was proved to be one of the burning issues of today’s multicultural society. Seminar participants were also introduced to the process of organization of educational process in University College that trains teachers of religious subjects for Austrian schools.
