During the work of Committee on education and science of the Russian-Turkish Public Forum (RTPF) in Ankara, the Republic of Turkey, MPGU and Ankara University signed the cooperation agreement. This agreement signed by MPGU Rector Alexey Lubkov and Ankara University Rector, professor Erkan İbiş, provides for wide range of educational, scientific and cultural cooperation.
“The signing of the agreement with one of the leading Universities of the Republic of Turkey is the landmark event for our University” – noted Alexey Lubkov. «We intend to interact in a broad range of directions and hope for the best, mutually beneficial results of bilateral cooperation”.
Ankara University, one of the largest in Turkey, was established in 1946. 45 000 students are studied here. There are 18 faculties, including pedagogical, fine arts, political science, theology, linguistics, 13 Institutions and 15 scientific centers, including the Centre for the Study of Childhood, observatory, Pedagogical Institution, the Centre of Latin America and others.
