On February 17 and March 3, 2021 students, teachers and university staff from Durham University (Great Britain) and MPGU participated in an online round table to discuss distinctive characteristics of the modern generation, a so-called generation Z. The participants were asked to dwell on the topic of the vital competencies of a modern person. The participants got keenly involved in the topic. The majority of students did not identify themselves as generation Z, but agreed that 20-25 year old young men and women differ considerably from their parents and are able to adapt easier to the changes of the modern world. The participants concluded that the necessary competencies of the contemporary men are soft skills, flexibility, creativity, activism.
The parties are looking forward to the further joint discussions.
