MSPU delegation consisted of S.D. Karakozov, vice rector for administrative policy, M.M. Musarsky, director of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian education and T.R. Minyazhev, deputy director for work with foreign students and international affairs, visited the University of Burgundy (Dijon, France) on 27-31 March, 2017.
The parties agreed to develop the conception of modern research projects and programmes.
MSPU delegation also visited Research Institute of sociology and economics of education (IREDU).
During the meeting the parties discussed the main perspectives of cooperation in the sphere of conducting scientific research works in sociology and economics of education, joint participation in scientific projects devoted to corporative research work in the sphere of sociology of education.
The proposal of preparing the joint applications for scientific grants within the framework of Erasmus + projects aroused the particular interest.
As a result of meeting the parties signed the Memorandum of cooperation.

From August 18 to August 20, 2021 the Global Smart Education Conference took place in Beijing. It followed the topic "SMART-education and the Future of Education" and was organized by Beijing Normal University, one of the key partners of MPGU, UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education, with support of the Ministry of Education in cooperation with international organizations and other higher educational institutions.
