On March 15, 2021 students of Moscow universities from Azerbaijan, Algeria, Benin, Botswana, Vietnam, India, China, Congo, Madagascar, Moldova, Russia, Syria, Uzbekistan, Ukraine celebrated arrival of spring together at the the coworking center «Soulful Moscow».
During the evening young people introduced each other to the customs and traditions of their countries and cultures. One could learn how to greet in different languages of the world, learn about the peculiarities of meeting spring in different countries.
The participants had the opportunity to learn the basics of the Chinese tea ceremony, try on the Madagascar national costume, and get acquainted with the history of Algeria.
The program “Spring in Ethnic Style” was prepared by the ANO “Development of Tourism and Hospitality in the Modern World” within the framework of the project “Comprehending Russia: a Cultural Polylogue” with the support of the Presidential Grants Fund and the World Association of Higher Education Institutions.
