In the frame of the of cooperation agreement between MSPU and the University of Cologne the first part of the sixth Russian-German seminar, dedicated to innovative techniques in teaching Physics and Mathematics, took place at Physics, Technologies and Information systems Institute.
The main purpose of this seminar is to demonstrate modern technologies, relevant teaching methods as well as to unite the students from two different countries, share experiences with each other and get to know other nation’s culture. More than one hundred students have already participated in this program since it had been established.
Participants introduced their presentations in the fields of Mathematics, Physics and Robotics teaching methods. Among others the leader of the German group, Honored MSPU Professor Tassilo Küpper, MSPU representatives D.A.Isaev, N.S.Purysheva, S.A.Ryabchun have delivered their lectures.
The visit to the Theater of Entertaining Science, organized by Engineering Lyceum “Intellect” (also known as school № 439), caught German students’ attention, where one of the areas of supplementary education were introduced to them.
Due to German’s advanced level of experience in the field of environmental protection, we were invited to Humanities and Social University of Kolomna, where Ecological conference took place. Participants were encouraged to discuss current significant problems and also had an opportunity to do sightseeing in this wonderful suburban town.
Besides scientific work, students had an eventful cultural program: tour of Moscow, visit to the Tretyakov Gallery, Moscow circus and the ballet in Kremlin Palace.
Participants of this seminar were honored to be greeted by MSPU rector A.V.Lubkov. He emphasize the importance and authenticity of this exchange program and also brought to everyone’s attention the origins of the pursuit of knowledge, rooted deeply in the history of Humboldt University of Berlin, where young Russian people got their education to become great scientists.
