On December 15-16, 2021 a series of meetings with representatives of the French Embassy in Moscow and School of education académie de Versailles (Inspé of Versailles) took place.
On December 15, MPGU was visited by Attaché for cooperation in the field of education Frederic Vuillaume, Attaché for cooperation in the field of the French language Roslyn Marty, as well as Alexander Laurent, teacher of the French language at the Inspé of Versailles.
At a meeting with representatives of the IRO (Deputy head O. Morozova and leading translator N. Bulashova), the parties discussed the prospects for the development of cooperation between MPGU and Inspé Versailles.
Potential cooperation within the framework of the Erasmus + «International Academic Mobility» and «Increasing the Potential of Universities» programs aroused particular interest on both sides.
Mr. Vuillaume once again noted that increase in the number of academic exchanges between French and Russian partner universities is one of the priority areas of Franco-Russian cooperation. The Congress of university teachers of the French language (Assises universitaires), organized by the French Embassy and the French Institute, in 2022 will focus primarily on this issue.
