On March 6 MSPU Rector A.V. Lubkov had a meeting with the delegation of professors from Japan Universities (Utsunomiya Kyowa University, Seinan Gakuin University, Hiroshima Bunka Gaguin).
Japan colleagues took interest in the problems of reforming the system of education in Russia, including changes in the approaches to the system of higher pedagogical education, results of Federal programme of reforming the pedagogical education, questions concerning the development of supplementary education. Parties discussed approaches to questions of education at contemporary Russian school and problems of educational and methodical support to the system of general education.
Parties also discussed questions of partnership of state and private universities in preparing stuff-members in Russia and Japan, including pedagogical education. With special attention Japan colleagues studied questions concerning Russian experience in training counselors.
The meeting showed that colleagues from Japan are following changes in the Russian system of education.
Parties agreed to develop contacts at all levels.
