On July 3, 2023, Academician Alexey Lubkov, Rector of MPGU, informed the Russian Ministry of Education that the Pedagogical Technopark of the University «Quantorium» had opened and started operating.
The Technopark, established at Moscow Padagogical State University, is a high-tech platform equipped with advanced facilities for training and education. Its main objectives are to provide highly qualified personnel for teaching natural science and technology subjects, enhance the university’s material and technical resources, and promote the development of scientific and digital literacy among schoolchildren.
The Technopark offers a range of activities, including practical classes, research projects, career guidance, master classes, competitions, and conferences. Through collaboration with other educational institutions, such as children’s technoparks and centers of natural science and technology, the Technopark aims to train students in teaching methods and technology and improve the qualifications of teaching staff. It also focuses on attracting schoolchildren to pursue education at MPGU through specialized programs. The Pedagogical Technopark includes laboratories for natural science and technological orientations, as well as a studio for webinars and presentations. This new infrastructure provides opportunities for students to conduct practical classes, engage in quasi-pedagogical activities, develop research projects, receive pre-professional training, participate in master classes, and carry out innovative activities.
Moreover, the Technopark facilitates student internships in pedagogical fields, experimental design work, and collaboration with educational organizations. Its mission aligns with MPGU’s commitment to creating a comprehensive educational environment and preparing young teachers with the best pedagogical practices.
