The Forum took place on November 27-29, 2019 in Shanghai, China as part of Chinese-Russian Union of the Highest Pedagogical educational institutions which celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2019. More than 100 participants arrived to the Forum. Delegations from MPGU, MGPU, Herzen’s State University, Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, Nizhegorodsk State Pedagogical University n.a. Kozma Minin, Yaroslavsk State Pedagogical University n.a. K. Ushinsky and many others represented Russia at the Forum. China was represented by all universities-members of the Union, BNU and East China Normal University among them. The Forum discussions were focused on the latest tendencies and perspectives of development of sports pedagogy in its different aspects, most importantly, physical education of different age groups and professional training.
The Union admitted a new member — Naberezhnochelninsky Pedagogical University. After admission the honored guests, such as , Secretary of the party committee of East China Normal University Tu Shitszun, Head of the Eurasian Office on International Relations and Exchange under the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China Lu Tsyatsin adressed the participants of the Forum. MPGU Rector Alexey Lubkov made a presentation on the topic «Sport and Personality». He underlined high importance of physical education for children since sport contributes to the development of willpower and system of values.
Upon conclusion of the Forum the participants agreed to develop cooperation by making joint research projects in the field of sport pedagogy, search for new pedagogical technoologies for different age groups, innovative approaches to teacher’s training for Universities, schools and institutions of supplementary education.
