On July 01, the Derbent branch of the MPGU celebrated its 25th anniversary with planned festivities. The plenary session commenced with a greeting from Ruslan Dzhangirovich Huseynov, the Director of the Derbent branch. Huseynov emphasized the importance of education in shaping patriotic citizens and congratulated all attendees.
Alexey Vladimirovich Lubkov, the Rector of the Moscow Pedagogical State University, also extended his congratulations to the branch and honored its faculty members with Certificates of Honor and Letters of Thanks.
RD Rahimov Mavsum Gilalovich, the head of the municipal district «Derbent district,» expressed his wishes for productive collaboration with the branch and presented personalized awards. Vidadi Vagifovich Zeynalov, Deputy head of the municipal formation of the city district «Derbent,» awarded outstanding branch employees for their contributions to the city and the city Department of Education.
Magomed Sirazhutdinovich Kurbanov, the head of the Tabasaran District municipal District, highlighted the significant role of the Derbent branch in providing highly qualified teaching staff for the Southern part of the Republic of Dagestan.
Several distinguished guests from other branches of Moscow State University attended the celebrations, including directors from Anapa, Stavropol, and Pokrovsky branches. They offered gifts and certificates of honor to the branch and its director, Gueynov R.D.
Representatives of the clergy, including Rector Saidov Arif Efletdinovich, Sheikh Abdullah Afandi, and Kerimov Shagabitdin Shikhakhmedovich, commended the branch for its commitment to spiritual and moral development and education. Rector Saidov presented a personal medal and a certificate of honor to Director Huseynov R.D.
Gulchokhra Nadirovna Seidova, Head of the UNESCO Department for Corporate Studies of Spiritual Traditions, also conveyed her congratulations.
Following the congratulatory speeches, video reports and resolutions from the round table discussions held in advance were presented by the moderators of the scientific and practical conference.
The anniversary event concluded with a vibrant music and dance performance by students of the Derbent branch. Participants and guests were then offered an excursion to explore the historical landmarks of the ancient city of Derbent.
