Сitizens of visa countries (other than Abkhazia, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, South Ossetia) are required to:
a) fill out an invitation form
b )receive the invitation at International Relations Office by email in 30 days;
It is not necessary to have an invitation from the university for your first visit to the Russian Federation. You can come as a tourist or using any other visa, take entrance exams and sign a contract for paid educational services, after which you will be granted invitation from the university automatically.
c) make a single entry visa to Russia valid for 3 months in the embassy / consulate of Russia;
d) prepare the following documents:
- passport with visa and migration card,
- latest education certificate with legalization / apostille (if necessary) and notarized translation into Russian
- HIV negative test results (certificate) and notarized translation into Russian (if the document is in a foreign language)
- 6 photos 3×4 (black and white or colorful)
e) submit documents and pass entrance tests held at MPGU
Entrance exams depend on the program you are applying for.
If you apply for an admission to PhD program, you should also send an essay on the subject in Russian to foreign@mpgu.su
f) if you pass exams successfully, sign a contract for paid educational services with the university
If you failed the exam, there is an option of enrolling at Russian Language Training Faculty;
g) pay for the education and send the scan of the receipt to foreign@mpgu.su
h) contact the Dean of your faculty, get a class schedule
i) start classes
j) extend the visa in a timely manner: 45 days before expiration of the current visa
