MPGU holds Open Doors Day twice a year: in autumn and spring (approximately October — November and March — April). On these days prospective students can learn more about Moscow Pedagogical State University, meet the University Rector as well as Head of the Admissions office and Deans of each Institute and Faculty.
On this day Rector greets enrollees, tells them about traditions and innovations in pedagogical education in general and in MPGU in particular and wishes good luck to the visitors. Afterwards Head of Admissions office takes the floor to explain the enrollment process and answer frequently asked questions. Deans usually introduce departments of their Institute or Faculty, talk about special features of studying and future job opportunities.
It is also important to add that throughout the year Institutes and Faculties hold their own Open Doors Days. In this case, the event takes place directly at an Institute or Faculty.
MPGU volunteers always help at Open Doors Day. They register the prospective students, talk about Institutes and Faculties, show around the building and help to feel a part of the University community.
Open Doors Day is usually held at KGF Building located at Prospekt Vernadskogo, 88, Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station.
